Guardian


The strength of guardians lies in their defensive abilities, survivability, and buffs. I can see guardians always being in demand due to the amazing group buffs they provide. Special skills called Virtues are what make guardians stand apart from other professions, virtues provide a passive bonus to the guardian, but can be activated to grant powerful buffs to nearby allies. Their other special abilities are Symbols and Wards, which are ground-targeted spells that can be aimed at enemies or used for providing buffs to allies.

Virtues:
     Virtue of Courage: Every 30 seconds, the guardian is given a buff that will block the next attack. When activated, this bonus will be applied to all nearby allies temporarily.
     Virtue of Justice: Every fifth attack will burn the guardian's enemy. When activated, this bonus will be applied to all nearby allies temporarily.
     Virtue of Resolve: Provides a passive health regeneration to the guardian. When activated, this bonus will be applied to all nearby allies temporarily.

Shouts: Used to buff allies or debuff enemies.
     "Hold the Line!" - Grant protection and regeneration to allies.
     "Retreat!" - Grant aegis and swiftness to up to five nearby allies.
     "Stand Your Ground!" -  Grant stability to yourself and allies.

Spirit Weapons: Summoned weapons that fight alongside the guardian for 20 - 30 seconds. The weapons can be activated at any point, which will destroy the weapons while unleashing a powerful buff or attack.
     Bow of Truth - Summon an arcane bow to remove conditions from you and your allies.
          Command - Command the Bow of Truth to fire a barrage of healing arrows at its location.
     Hammer of Wisdom - Summon an arcane hammer to defend you.
          Command - Command your Hammer of Wisdom to knock down your foe.
     Shield of the Avenger - Summon an arcane shield to defend you.
          Command - Command the Shield of the Avenger to fly out Weakening multiple foes.
     Sword of Justice - Summon an arcane sword to defend you.
          Command -   Command the Sword of Justice to strike the ground at its location, damaging nearby foes.

Symbols: Skills that are targeted on a selected area and can deal damage to enemies or grant a buff to allies.
     Symbol of Faith - Smash a mystic symbol onto the ground that damages foes and regenerates allies.
     Symbol of Judgement - Draw a symbol on the ground that heals allies and damages foes.
     Symbol of Protection - Create a symbol that gives protection to you and your allies.
     Symbol of Swiftness - Sear a mystic symbol into the target area, damaging foes and granting swiftness to allies.
     Symbol of Wrath - Pierce the ground with a mystic symbol that damages and burns foes while granting retaliation to allies.

Wards: Creates a marked area that enemies are not able to pass through, but allows allies to move freely.
     Line of Warding - Create a line in front of you that foes cannot cross.
     Ring of Warding - Create a ring around you that foes cannot cross. Trapped enemies cannot exit the ring while it is active.

     Off Hand: Focus, Shield, Torch
     Two-Handed: Greatsword, Hammer, Staff
