Ranger
With the power of nature at their disposal, rangers possess the ability to call upon the spirits of nature and tame wild animals. These loyal animal companions assist in battle and provide a set of skills unique to the species. Rangers can also drop traps at their current location that will trigger when an enemy steps into them, which can debuff the enemy or deal extra damage.
Pets: Rangers have three active pet slots, and can swap out their pets when out of combat or through the use of utility skills. Pets can unlock new skills as they level up, and the ranger can choose which of these abilities to lock into the pet's ability slot. There are currently 12 different types of pets, and each species within these types will have different abilities. For example, an Ice Drake has the abilities Frost Breath and Frost Nova, while a River Drake has the abilities Lightning Breath and Electrocute. Fun stuff!
Spirit: Summons a spirit of nature to aid in battle, the spirit will effect nearby allies and foes. The spirit remains for a period of time, but will dissipate if the ranger wanders too far from it. The spirits can be attacked by enemies, which could possibly better serve the ranger by creating this distraction for enemies. The ranger may only have one of each type of spirit active at a single time.
Frost Spirit - Summon a frost spirit that has a 20% chance to grant bonus damage to nearby allies.
Cold Snap - Your frost spirit releases a freezing blast of arctic air, chilling nearby foes.
Spirit of Nature - Summon a spirit that heals allies. Command the spirit to revive and remove conditions from nearby allies.
Nature's Renewal - Command your Spirit of Nature to revive and remove conditions from nearby downed allies.
Stone Spirit - Summon a stone spirit that gives nearby allies a 20% chance to gain protection.
Quick Sand - Your stone spirit softens the earth around it, immobilizing and crippling foes.
Storm Spirit - Summon a storm spirit that grants nearby allies a 20% chance to gain swiftness when attacking.
Call Lightning - Your Storm spirit strikes the area with a powerful blast of electricity.
Sun Spirit - Summon a sun spirit that grants allies a 20% chance to inflict burning.
Solar Flare - Your sun spirit releases the brilliance of the sun, blinding foes.
Trap: Drops a trap on the ground that will be triggered when an enemy passes through it. The trap will remain active as long as the caster remains within range of it. Only one of each trap type can be active at a single time.
Flame Trap - Set a trap that burns foes.
Frost Trap - Set a trap that chills foes.
Spike Trap - Set a trap that bleeds and cripples foes.
Viper's Nest - Set a trap that pulses poison on foes when triggered.
